My name is Hiba and I live in Zaghouan. My favourite season is spring. In March and April, the sky is clear, the air is fresh and the mountain is green. There are flowers and butterflies everywhere.

Last Sunday, my class went on a trip to the Water Temple. Our teacher, Mrs Leila, showed us the old Roman stones. Then we walked in the fields and collected poppies for our classroom. My friend Ines tried to catch a butterfly, but it flew away. We all laughed.

In the afternoon, the weather changed. It became cloudy and windy, and then it was rainy. We ran to the bus, wet but happy. Next Sunday, I will go back with my parents. I will take my camera, and I won’t forget my umbrella!

My favourite season is summer because there is no school and I can stay with my cousins. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny, and the sky is clear. I wear shorts, T-shirts and a cap. Every morning, I go to the beach in Monastir with my family. I swim in the sea and I build sandcastles with my little brother. In the evening, we eat ice cream and walk by the sea. Summer is the best season of the year!
